Report: Despite progress, Chris Pronger out for Game 5

PHILADELPHIA - APRIL 02: Chris Pronger #20 of the Philadelphia Flyers argues a call with referee Brad Meier #34 during the game against the Montreal Canadiens at the Wachovia Center on April 2, 2010 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Bruce Bennett/Getty Images)

Via CSNPhilly.com:

While Chris Pronger seems to making progress on his injured right hand, a source close to the Flyers' defenseman said he would not be ready for Game 5.

...

Pronger is still experiencing pain in the fractured area around the right hand, the source said, adding he is still unable to take sufficient contact on the hand to defend himself on the ice.

Not much else to add. This sucks.
