Can a brother get some stats help?

In all seriousness, I'm wanting to start work on a (long-term) hockey stats project, but don't know where to go for all the stats I want in (relatively) easily accessible form. I'm looking for all sorts of stuff - traditional boxcar, blocked shots, Corsi, hits, penalties, that sort of information. I'd like to get it for both player and team, but player's more important (since I can theoretically sum all the players to get the team stat for a lot of them). I'm already quite aware of behindthenet.ca, but do any of the other stats folks out there have good sites for getting some of the numbers that they don't look at over there?

It depends what exactly you’re looking for, but hockeydb.com is great for boxcars.

Hockey Reference is great for Boxcars, ratios, splits, and tons of stuff I don’t even know they have yet.

NHL.com is probably where you’re going to get the hits and blocked shots stuff.

Other than that… Not sure what else you’re looking for.

To be honest, I’m not entirely sure what I’m looking for yet either, but after the season (my busy schedule roughly coincides with the playoffs), I’ll have time to play with some things and figure out exactly what I need. I just wanted to get some ideas of where to look for various stats, since nobody keeps all of them.

For team stats, NHL.com is great. All kinds of split stats for Shootouts, OT, whatever you need is pretty accessible.

OK, I actually have found one – does anyone break down A1 and A2 assists by number? behindthenet has them by rate, but I can’t find number anywhere.
