What else is there to say? I could sit here and write 500 words on why the Flyers lost tonight, but the fact of the matter is simple. You don't care why they lost tonight. I don't care why they lost tonight. We just care that yes, they lost tonight. Again.
This is getting old. Very, very old. You're frustrated. I'm frustrated. The Flyers themselves are certainly frustrated. Unfortunately, they're the only ones that can actually do something about it. The Capitals are now atop the East, the Penguins are knocking at the door in the Atlantic.
Four straight losses. Two games left before the playoffs begin. Not exactly a confidence builder.
The playoffs are either going to be a welcome blessing or a bitter, bitter continuation of this mess. Wake the hell up, Flyers, and do it like, yesterday. Questions with answers and the comment of the night after the jump.
Questions with Answers
- How does Nikolay Zherdev look tonight after two solid games? He and Mike Richards had something tonight. That was cool.
- How does Ville Leino respond to his benching? Poorly.
- Craig Anderson has been incredible (for the most part) in Ottawa. Can he steal one for the Sens? He didn't need to steal one.
- In his second NHL game, what does Stephane Da Costa do for the Sens? He was looked at hard by the Flyers out of college before signing with Ottawa. It doesn't matter.
