What is the clinching scenario for the Flyers? Flyers win Pens tie or loss?
Defending Carter until 2021...
I think the clinching scenario is right around the area of their assholes if they lose.

Magic number is 3, so 2 points and a Pens loss of any kind. Or a Pens loss and a Flyers OT/SO loss.

Put simply: The Flyers magic number is 3. The magic number goes down with each point the Flyers earn and each point the Penguins drop. If the number is down to 0 before the end of the season, the Flyers will win the Atlantic Division and we’ll all have epic party time.

Hey Masthead people! I have an idea for the masthead you should have a heading for “in Clique”. List some of the clique names. You know, just to let people know who rules the joint.. like in high school. Still having trouble getting past this…..Wussah…wussah!

This reminds me of when I was a kid and I used to ponder who would win if the teams were what they say they are.
That is, “who would win a fight between penguins and islanders? Probably islanders, they might get pecked a little, but penguins don’t seem like they’d put up all that much of a fight really.”
HA HA! I’d think more like Rock Scissor Paper. Island crushes Penguins but Flyers fly away and shit on Island.
Some of them are interesting — I’d pay to see a fight between a jaguar and a panther.
Some of them are comical — a fight between a white sock and a red sock?
Some of them are just downright one-sided — a bear against a cardinal.
I would love to see a fight between a Blue Jacket and a Red Wing

I was just going for humor value. Despite iJJ bringing up strippers, I don’t think anyone here intends any slight on you, your child, or your parenting skills.
Heh, okay. This is all new parenting territory for me so it’s a little weird. You have to consider that I’ve never even cursed in front of her until about a year ago so…

I have a kid myself, I understand it’s a sensitive (and tough) subject.
You won’t find much ill-will or malintent here. But you will find assorted teasing and sarcasm and innuendo.
Usually we’re pretty good about confining it to the known regulars, but when you come in with bubble gum vodka and a 21 year old, it’s a pretty tough invitation to resist, I’m afraid.
I’ve actually lurked a long time, and I’ve hung out on much more vicious boards, so it’s all good.
by WHG on Apr 8, 2011 8:35 PM EDT up reply actions
Uhhh, you didn’t just imply my kid’s a stripper did you?
by WHG on Apr 8, 2011 8:16 PM EDT up reply actions
I should clarify, I didn’t mean to imply anything about your kid.
But that the market for that is probably 21 year olds…and strippers.
/fail
It’s all good. I agree, that both flavors are probably marketed to younger female drinkers. I will admit I tried the whipped cream with coke. Not really my thing, but not as bad as I imagined.
by WHG on Apr 8, 2011 8:23 PM EDT up reply actions
The whip cream vodka is absolutely awesome. With Root beer, it’s a float. With PEpsi? Drunken Vanilla Soda.
See I feel like I can make those drinks just as effectively with vanilla rum… Which scares me a lot less than the whipped cream vodka does

This is why fish giveaways are terrible. It’s pretty cruel to give animals to people who aren’t into it enough to set up a proper environment for them.
/no slight on Chem or her friends — it’s on the people who decided to make the fish be the prizes
Yeah, I knew as soon as I got it that I was going to go either go to the pet store or ask a friend to go.
I even have dechlorination drops for the water and everything.

You didn’t feel promise when Richards scored 3 minutes into the last game to give the Flyers a 1-0 lead?
Or when JVR scored 12 minutes into the game before that to give them a 1-0 lead?
Or when JVR scored 10 minutes into the game before that to give them a 1-0 lead?
Yes
Because tonight it starts.
