As always, click to enlarge.

I wanted to post this before Game 1 but couldn't get it done. I'm still not that happy with it, but The Flyers need all the motivation they can get tonight so I hope they read this.  The inspiration for this comic was Briere's speech during the second intermission of game 6 vs Buffalo. I have it from good authority (Ville Leino) that this is, word for word, what Danny said to rally the troops. Random quotes from movies. I wanted Li'l Danny to get crazier and more manic as the strip went on and only partially succeeded.

The spelling test Li'l Mikey refers to was a call back to the first strip I drew, referring to the first "spelling test", The Sabres, as being easy.

Movies Used: Fight Club, Spider-Man, Empire Strikes Back, Independence Day and Lord of the Rings. I guess Li'l Danny is a Sci Fi geek. "These are the times that try men's souls" is from Thomas Paine's Revolutionary War document "The American Crisis".

And yes, that is the first appearance of Li'l Chris Pronger in the Back. The tall one.
