Perhaps I'm optimistic and emotionally detached, but I'm proud of my 2010-11 Flyers and extremely enthusiastic for next season.

there are a number of highlights from this season that seem promising for the coming year:

1. Giroux is truly an all-star... grilled cheese anyone?

2. Briere can score, and is back on track... and of course shows up in the playoffs.

3. JVR emerges!  Honestly, his dominant play in the playoffs is a promising sign.  He has finally found his NHL caliber play and looks to impress.

4. BOB, the kid did not disappoint and i look forward to a 2nd season of confidence and experience.  I don't think his playoff experience was coached well, but through it he showed his resilience and some damn fine pad saves!  he's quick!  i haven't been this excited for a goalie since boosh, or esche, or cechmanek... (sarcasm aside) really i hope we see consistency from him in his 2nd year.

ok... let's look on the bright side!
