2011 NHL Awards: Live Discussion Thread As Lappy Tries To Bring Home Masterton Trophy

LAS VEGAS, NV - JUNE 21: Ian Laperriere of the Philadelphia Flyers addresses the media at the 2011 NHL Awards nominee media availability at the Palms Casino Resort on June 21, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Bruce Bennett/Getty Images)

Ian Laperriere is the only Flyer that can take home some hardware tonight as he's in the running for the Masterton Trophy, going up against Ray Emery of the Ducks and Daymond Langkow of the Flames. Honestly, I won't be mad if Emery wins either, since it almost feels like we have two dogs in this fight.

But in any case, the Awards are tonight -- complete with all the D-list celebrities you can handle. Versus in the States at 7 p.m., CBC in Canada. The NHL Network red carpet show is already a wreck, so feel free to tune in there if you're interested.

Feel free to join the party here.
