News has been tweeted that Carter has officially been traded to Columbus for Jakub Voracek, the 8th overall pick, and Columbus's 3rd rounder. I don't if I like this deal, seeing how we have to offer Voracek a new contract. Homer could always have a wheel and deal sort of thing coming along soon. In the end, we have to deal with Carter against us, and if history has taught us anything, it's that whoever we trade comes back to bite us in the ass royally. Especially with talks of Columbus moving to the East next year. We will probably come out $3M ahead on this deal. But, we have a ridiculously high draft pick. We got our money back for Versteeg and then some. Speaking of Versteeg, I think he needs to go. We only will get a 2nd or 3rd round pick for him, but we need to shed his salary. Was this the right move?
