Flyers acquire Bryzgalov's rights
The AP claims the Flyers have acquired the negotiating rights to upcoming UFA goalie Ilya Bryzgalov from the Coyotes for Matt Clackson and a 2012 3rd round pick and future considerations.
This must mean Holmgren and the front office have a plan to move salary in a trade, Bryzgalov is asking for a lot of money and this more than likely spells the end of Ville Leino in Philadelphia unless the Flyers can move two roster players, there have been plenty of Jeff Carter to Toronto or Columbus rumors and even a few about Matt Carle and Kris Versteeg, it will be interesting to see what Homer has up his sleeve to sign Bryzgalov.
