Flyers acquire rights to Bryzgalov

The Flyers have acquired the rights to upcoming UFA goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov from the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for Matt Clackson and 2012 3rd round draft pick and future considerations according to the AP.

Obviously Holmgren has to have something up his sleeve at this point, this more than likely spells the end of Ville Leino in a Flyers jersey and to sign Bryzgalov it would require a trade of a roster player. The Carter to Toronto rumors have been rampant and some even think Columbus may take a run at him. Matt Carle and Kris Versteeg may also be players who could be moved. Hopefully it's Carle or Versteeg and not Carter but either way something is brewing in the Flyers organization after this move.
