Flyers talking trade for Stamkos

Last night a friend of mine (who used to produce some WIP radio shows, so he has the connections) told me that the Flyers are still very much interested in acquiring Stamkos, and he mentioned 2 different packages:

JVR, Carle, Schenn, and Courturier     OR       Giroux and Bob

Which deal would you prefer? Is my buddy nuts or do you think the Flyers would still make some more moves?

I know Stamkos is reportedly close to signing a deal with Tampa (5 year/$37 mil for a hit of 7.4 mil), but that doesn't mean the Flyers (or someone else) won't try to acquire him. in fact, that deal is pretty nice.

Which of those packages are most appealing? Personally, I'd send Giroux and Bob, only because of the "youth movement" used to justify the exit of Richie/Cartsy. As much as I love Claudius, I like the chances that Schenn or Courturier have of meeting/eclipsing his talent over the next few seasons. I think giving up JVR (even though I hear contract talks haven't gone so well) and the top 2 prospects in a very weak farm system is just too high a price to pay on acquiring a player, even if he is a future super star.

Is this all a terrible idea? Should the Flyers just sit pretty or do you shake the foundation up some more and trade A) a slew of young, promising players or B) your most talented player, who also happens to be in his mid 20s, and a promising-at-least young goalie?
