Birthday Present Help

Hello Everyone,

So I have a bit of a dilemma in regards to a birthday present for a friend. A group of my friends and I have grouped up to get my friend a Flyers jersey since he doesn't have one and really likes the Flyers. He hasn't outright said which jersey or player is his favorite and we don't want to flat out ask him so I thought I would see what the Broad Street community thought about my dilemma and hopefully provide some help in my efforts to get my friend what we hope to be is the best possible jersey. Thank you for your time I really appreciate it. I'm adding a poll to collect what everyone thinks is a good choice. The players he talks about the most are Schenn, Giroux, Timonen, and Couturier. I can't think of any more important information that I could provide.

Thank you,

Ted

I’ve always been a fan of taking the route less traveled as far as jersey’s go. EVERYONE has a Giroux, so unless that’s his absolute favorite player, I’d go for a Juicy (Couturier) or Timonen…

Agreed. I voted for Juicy as well. He’s young, good, and hopefuly will be around for a long, long time.

I only buy retro sweaters because my 1st sweater was a Brindy and he was gone a few years later.

Timonen is a solid choice. He’s well-respected, an excellent player, and not a risk to be traded.

I heart our rookies.

I don’t think you can go wrong with a Giroux. He’s a fucking superstar. Also, more so than anyone Giroux will probably be around for a long time.

Flyers Fans: We've survived Lock-outs, Lindros and Cooperalls. If you want to get rid of us, you'll have to split an atom or two.

Schenn or Couturier. Young, excellent centers. I have a Giroux, and although alot of people have them, I agree with Kreider, you can’t go wrong with it. He’s the perfect Flyer.

I voted for Timonen, but...

Have you and your friends thought about getting him a throwback jersey? That way he wouldn’t have to worry about getting a new one should the player he gets be traded.

Barber, Parent, or Leach would be good choices if you go that route.

Just talkin about practice
