Where do you guys play? I’m in the Harrisburg area and play in a local roller league but am always up for getting more playing time.
It’s around Philly. There’s a couple of us that come from the central part of the state though so you might be able to carpool.

Ah ok. I don’t think I’ll be able to make it then, at least for this time. My girlfriend and her Mom are having a joint birthday party that afternoon/night so I probably shouldn’t be out of town for that.

If possible anyone coming from Jersey (Burlington Co.) or close to it, that I can catch a ride from??? I can meet you anywhere just not sure my girlfriend can take me all the way to Philly that day. After that foot game in the rain I have had to epidural injections in my low back. Finally getting control of the pain. If the weather is bad and no blades I’m definitely not playing on foot.

Do you guys play in full pads and helmets and gear?
I have literally none of that, but we play over in Rofo/Collegeville most saturday or sundays when it’s decent outside, and since none of us have much besides some amalgam of goalie equipment and sticks/balls/skates/gloves, i can’t play if you guys rock all the gear haha.
Nah, the skaters don’t usually have gear on. Some may wear shin pads, but I’ve never worn anything protective other than gloves for our BSH roller games.

I didn’t used to wear a helmet when I played pick up roller games but the last time i played on this rink i took a puck to the face and fractured my skull and was close to hitting my eye so its helmet and visor for me

Is usually when my friends play our pick up game, but we have been doing open hockey on Friday nights so Saturday is usually up in the air. If we aren’t playing I can probably make it. I looked up the address on google maps and it showed me a house. If someone could elaborate on the location would be much appreciated.

It was fun playing in the snow!!!
But the 5 minutes of blizzard conditions screwed it and it was clear when I got home…wtf…would have been too wet to continue anyway

The light snow was pretty cool…not even enough to make the rink slick. I hope we can do this again soon
It actually started coming down really hard right after everyone got out, it actually soaked the rink, i was sloshing as I went back to look for my glasses

That shit turned into a horror movie. The sky grew dark, the wind was howling, and then BAM crazy amount of blinding snow. Sadly I forgot my stick down there but at the rate that I play hockey I wouldn’t need it for awhile anyway.
