Just out of curiosity.
Does anyone know how a college student would apply for a hockey internship or a job like the one held by Paul DePodesta in Moneyball? Something working with sabermetrics (Or hockey's equivalent). Teams must use stats or advanced scouting or analytical stat breakdowns and such.
I am going to graduate with a dual degree in Computer Science and Economics in 2 more years and I was curious what route I could go through. Just a pipe dream but maybe someone has a enlightening answer.
Just curious if it was at all possible.
