According to deadline.com, Rob Zombie is writing, producing and directing a movie about the Broad Street Bullies, with the permission of the Philadelphia Flyers. Coming on the heels of the recent hockey movie goon, it seems this new movie might be part of a trend to create movies about the rough and tumble work of hockey. On the other hand, there are some concerns Zombie, most known for horror movies and his controversial remake of Halloween might not be able to envision a movie that appropriately tells the story of the 1970s most infamous hockey team.
