PITTSBURGH -- With the 111th pick in the 2012 NHL Draft, the Philadelphia Flyers have selected Fredric Larsson, a big defenseman from Brynas IF in Sweden. There is literally nothing about this dude on the Internet except for a Twitter account in Swedish, but luckily Bill Meltzer has seen him play a bit.
"Fredde Larsson is one of the more physical defensemen in the Swedish junior leagues," Meltzer tweeted. "Big frame, high PIMs, low points."
So there's your scouting report. We'll try to learn more. Not sure if he's here in Pittsburgh today or not.
