I appreciate Shanahan's detailed explanation here. (I mean, damn, he basically explained how a forecheck works.) He says that boarding isn't applicable because Schenn bears some of the onus for protecting himself, and he says that charging isn't applicable because Wilson was clearly forechecking -- not aiming to hit Schenn -- for most of the time he was accelerating in the offensive zone.
While I understand Shanny's explanation, but I'm still uncomfortable looking at this hit as a clean one. What do you think?
