Two NHL fights into his career, it's pretty clear Tye McGinn is good at this.
That's the second fight on the year for Tye McGinn. He might have a future with this stuff. Who would have thought? A player with skill who can fight! Amazing concept!
The best part is that this one wasn't a meaningless fight. It wasn't an enforcer grasping to relevance. Jakub Voracek hit Jets goalie Al Montoya (Accidental? You can decide...) and McGinn stepped in to defend his teammate. That's the only way fighting is still truly relevant in the NHL, and when you have a guy like McGinn who can step up and do that work when it's needed, but can also still play the game ... well, all the better.
