It seems as though GoT talk gets a lot of traction in the morning Fly Bys so I figure we should make a new post for the new season. This is for those who have read all the books or don't mind being spoiled.
Let's kick this off with some discussion points:
- I love all the Theon stuff so far in S3. I think book readers can figure out who that "boy" is. They keep subtly dropping hints as to who it might be.
- I feel as though Wilas Tyrell has been mentioned, but they are writing him out of the Sansa plot altogether. So now that is two Tyrells that have been cut this season. I wonder if they will be included in future seasons (Garlan anyway since he has a much larger in-person role).
- I love Varys...the slow reveal during his speech opening the box was absolutely genius
- They haven't done much yet with the Arya and Davos storylines. And when will they ever introduce Stannis' wife/daughter....or even the Florents? I think a big part of the storyline in the book is his wife's belief of the Lord of Light and that it really isn't his own.
Anyone have any takeaways from this season so far? I think it's the strongest it's been since Season 1.
