Next Years Team

My plan for the Flyers next season and beyond.

Draft Jones, Nurse, Ristolainen, Zardov or Pulock in that order one will still be available at the 11th pick.

Than buyout Briere (As much as I love what he has done for this team especially in the playoffs he makes way too much for being injured and not producing) Also trade Mez to a team looking to get to the Salary cap floor for a late pick maybe Columbus.

Than resign Gags for cheap, sign Lauridsen, Gus to 2-3 year low end deals possibly even lower than what I accounted for.

Than offer Alex Pietrangelo a very large 7.5ish Mill contract over 7 years and see if they go for it, if they resign him like expected make a 5.5-6 Mill 5-6 year deal to Kevin Shattenkirk that they wont be able to match with Bouwmeester there now I doubt a small market team will want $14Mill tied up in 2 Dmen.

Than go after another forward maybe a Clarkson or a Ryder on a one year deal, someone in the Free agent pool that would push some of the younger guys.

That also sets us up nicely to resign G to a 8 year monster deal, and with the Cap moving up and Kimmo retiring plus most likely Bryz being bout out (Hopefully because Mason is in the Vezina race) Couts, Schenn and Read will be able to be retained also after next year.
That leaves us with this roster going into next year and still with $5+Mill in cap space. My Custom Lineup
