Was watching Leafs-Bruins last night (goes without saying that it was a hell of a game) and shortly after Patrice Bergeron tucked in the game-winner in OT I was thinking about how many Flyers OT playoff goals I've seen. Now, I'm only 18, so it hasn't been as many as the rest of you on this site, but i decided to list the Flyers playoff OT GWGs in chronological order from the time I was born. Videos if I could find them. I'll add my personal insight for the ones I actually remember watching.
May 7, 1995: Karl Dykhuis from Rob Brind'Amour to win Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals 4-3 against the Buffalo Sabres at the Wachovia Spectrum. Gave Flyers 1-0 series lead.
May 21, 1995: Eric Desjardins from Craig McTavish to win Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals 5-4 against the New York Rangers at the Wachovia Spectrum. Gave Flyers 1-0 series lead.
May 22, 1995: Kevin Haller from Mikael Renberg to win Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals 4-3 against the New York Rangers at the Wachovia Spectrum. Gave Flyers 2-0 series lead. Goal starts at 3:45 of this video.
June 7, 1995: Eric Lindros from John LeClair and Mikael Renberg to win Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals 3-2 against the New Jersey Devils at the Brendan Byrne Arena. Cut Flyers' series deficit to 2-1.
May 2, 2000: Andy Delmore from Keith Jones and Jody Hull to win Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals 4-3 against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Mellon Arena. Cut Flyers' series deficit to 2-1. Best video I could find.
May 4, 2000: Keith Primeau from Dan McGillis and Luke Richardson to win Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals 2-1 in 5OT against the Pittsburgh Penguins at Mellon Arena. Tied series 2-2. Video here.
Personal anecdote time! I was only 5 when this happened, but my dad told he me he remembers going out that night and coming home in the wee hours of the morning and turning on the TV to see the game, thinking it was one of the local networks replaying the game, only to see that it was in the 4th OT. He stayed up to watch it, saw Primeau pot one to win it, and fell asleep on the couch no more than 5 minutes later. Fun!
April 17, 2002: Ruslan Fedotenko from Marty Murray and Adam Oates to win Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals 1-0 against the Ottawa Senators at the First Union Center. Gave Flyers 1-0 series lead.
April 16, 2003: Mark Recchi from Michael Handzus and Dimitri Yushkevich to win Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals 3-2 in 3OT against the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre. Tied series 2-2. Video here.
May 20, 2004. Simon Gagne from Jeremy Roenick and Keith Primeau to win Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals 5-4 against the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Wachovia Center. Tied series 3-3. "SIMON GAGNE. WE'VE GOT A GAME 7!"
Personal anecdote! This was one of my earliest hockey memories (the only one I can think of before this was Scott Stevens ending Eric Lindros in Game 7 of the 2000 Eastern Conference Finals so yeah) and I fell in love with hockey after having it be an afterthought for me before. My dad took me out to a sports bar/grill/pub to watch Game 7 with him. They lost, of course. I was 9. Little did I know that this would become a theme.
April 17, 2008: Mike Knuble from Jeff Carter and Scottie Upshall to win Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals 4-3 in 2OT against the Washington Capitals at the Wachovia Center. Gave Flyers 3-1 series lead. Video action here.
April 22, 2008: Joffrey Lupul from Kimmo Timonen and Danny Briere on the power play to win Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Washington Capitals at the Verizon Center. Won series 4-3. "THEY SCORE! THEY SCORE! JOFFREY LUPUL TUCKS IT HOME!"
Personal anecdote! I was in 7th grade. I fell asleep in the third period. I read all about it in the newspaper the next morning. None of my peers in middle school cared. I was sad.
April 18, 2010: Dan Carcillo from Mike Richards and Simon Gagne to win Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the New Jersey Devils at the Wachovia Center. Gave Flyers a 2-1 series lead. "AND CARCILLO SCOOOORRREESSS! DAN CARCILLO WINS IT FOR THE FLYERS!"
Personal anecdote: The 2010 playoff run is when hockey became a major part of my life. Before I'd watch in the playoffs and not much else, but after this magical playoff run I became a huge fan. After the Flyers split the first 2, I wasn't sure if they were going to be legit contenders or not. I was still tempering my expectations. This goal from Dan Carcillo of all people (he was playing on the top line at this point and started his shift on the PP) was just a dirty goal that is beautiful come April and May. Richie made the play on the forecheck, of course. Miss him.
May 7, 2010: Simon Gagne from Matt Carle and Mike Richards to win Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals 5-4 against the Boston Bruins at the Wachovia Center. Cut Flyers' series deficit to 3-1. "SIMON GAGNE! THE FLYERS SURVIVE...AND FORCE GAME 5"
Personal anecdote: I went to Game 3 with my dad (my first Flyers game!) and after that poop sandwich of a loss I remember us having a conversation along the lines of "well, it was a fun season, they won the first round series so that was cool at least!" Little did we know...This jump-started the epic comeback, obviously. Gags coming back early from the broken foot and winning the game on that nice little redirection...beautiful. One of Matt Carle's finest games as a Flyer, too (assists on 4 of the Flyers' 5 goals including the game-winner). The Flyers seemed like they got no bounces the first 3 games of the series, but that would change from this night on. The fact that I stayed in to watch this alone on a Friday night says something about how hockey was starting to take over my life.
June 2, 2010: Claude Giroux from Matt Carle and Danny Briere to win Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals 4-3 against the Chicago Blackhawks at the Wachovia Center. Cut Flyers' series deficit to 2-1. "SIDE OF THE NET, DEFLECTED, SCOOORES! GIROUX...FLYERS WIN".
Personal anecdote: Such a huge goal. Series would have been effectively over at 3-0 without it. This playoff run was when I think we all started to know that G would be something special. Eerily similar to the Gagne OT winner against the Bruins, but with Briere starting the play from the opposite side that Richards did. I remember watching this on my TV upstairs with my dad and both of us freaking out like lunatics when it trickled in. Fun fact: this is the only other Flyers OT GWG in a Stanley Cup Final game besides Bobby Clarke's Game 2 winner against the Bruins in 1974.
April 24, 2011: Ville Leino from Mike Richards and Kris Versteeg to win Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals 5-4 against the Buffalo Sabres at HSBC Arena. Tied series 3-3. "LEINO...THERE WILL BE A SEVENTH GAME".
Personal anecdote: Big Ville Style! I missed this one. Sunday afternoon, I was on a flight back to Philly from San Diego. The guy in the row behind me on the plane paid the $20 for in-flight wifi to stream the game online and he kept me updated. I heard a muffled scream of delight right as the captain told us we'd be beginning our descent in about 15 minutes. While I was on the plane, I missed the Flyers' OT win in Game 6, the Sixers beating the Heat on a Lou Williams pull-up three in Game 4 (at home!), and Roy Halladay (RIP) striking out 14 guys in 8 2/3 innings for a 3-1 W over the Padres. Eventful few hours, that flight was.
April 11, 2012: Jakub Voracek from Matt Carle and Matt Read to win Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals 4-3 against the Pittsburgh Penguins at the CONSOL Energy Center. Gave Flyers 1-0 series lead. "THEY SCORE! JAKE VORACEK RAMS IT HOME, AND THE FLYERS WIN THE HOCKEY GAME!"
Personal anecdote: Huge Dong rams it home! Although this was before I coined that nickname for him, unfortunately. First Flyers OT GWG that I had Twitter for. Let's see what I tweeted...

JAKE VORACEK WHAT IS HAPPENING I CAN'T FEEL MY FACE AHHHHHHH GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL GOAL WIN WIN WIN WHAT IS HAPPENING OH MY GOD YES
— JaBROmir Jagr (@GoingHard_inger) April 12, 2012

Hmmm. I took that well. I remember I was watching it alone in my house, and when Jake scored I lost my mind Jumped up, screamed emphatically, scared the SHIT out of my cat who was sitting next to me, and ran around my house. Good times! The beginning of, for my money, the most entertaining playoff series in Philadelphia sports history.
April 29, 2012: Danny Briere from Jakub Voracek and Matt Carle to win Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals 4-3 against the New Jersey Devils at the Wells Fargo Center. Gave Flyers 1-0 series lead. "Back to Briere, fires, SCORES!".
Personal anecdote: Sunday afternoon. Watching it with my dad. Flyers overcame shaky goaltending from Bryz and a disallowed goal in OT on a kick for Briere to grab a W. At this point, I thought the Flyers were winning the Cup. 4 disappointing losses later (a slow, painful death, last year was), I was proven wrong. Still, great game for the Flyers. One of JVR's finest days in orange and black. And G's goal to give them a 3-2 lead in the 3rd period was an absolute fucking howitzer. One of my favorite goals ever. My tweet after Danny B won it:

THAT ONE COUNTS BRO
— JaBROmir Jagr (@GoingHard_inger) April 29, 2012

Short, sweet, and to the point.
And here we are. Hopefully there are more Flyers playoff OT goals to come in the near future. Maybe one to win a Cup. Hope you enjoyed this!
My favorites? I'm glad you asked! Since I don't remember too many of them all that well, mine would have to be Giroux vs. Chicago and Gags vs. Boston. But I definitely like Primeau in 5OT, Roenick to clinch vs. Toronto, and Gags to send the ECF to a Game 7 vs. Tampa as well.
