The lost work of Gabriel Desjardins

Well not really lost, more like just old.

I've taken it upon myself to read every post/article that Gabriel Desjardins posted under the name Hawerchuk at Artic Ice Hockey (formerly Behind the net). There are about 1,000 , and I've only just started so I've got a lot of work to do. But it is fascinating some of the early posts.

For those of you who don't know, Gabriel Desjardins runs the invaluable stat site behindthenet.ca

He is one of the top minds in hockey analytics and has worked for several NHL teams as a consultant. Unfortunately, he has ceased posting on SBNation. Because I have only joined this site recently, I never was able to see the posts of desjardins. And while We all are so lucky to have the best writers at SBnation here with us on Broad Street Hockey, I wanted to go back to Desjardins' posts where much of modern hockey analytics all began.

Anyways, I'll post links as I go through the posts of any particularly interesting articles or posts.
