So much for the Evander Kane to the Flyers thing

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The Flyers are not interested in Evander Kane.

Yesterday, Evander Kane favorited a tweet in which a Flyers fan was asking Ron Hextall to make a deal for the Jets forward. Obviously that doesn't mean anything, but it's still funny -- especially considering Kane doesn't favorite all that many tweets, and when he does they're usually pictures of big houses or whatever.

It got people thinking -- hey, maybe he wants to come to Philly. And maybe he'd look good with the Flyers, and maybe this is something Hextall really could and should and will explore ...

Nah.

Oh well. Fun while it lasted.
