Penguins Fire Their Head Coach!

The Pittsburgh Penguins apparently made a few front office moves on Friday. They hired Jim Rutherford as their new GM and fired Head Coach Dan Bylsma.

Bylsma was a mid-year hire back in February 2009 replacing Michel Therrien.

No word yet on who will be coaching Sidney Crysbaby next year.

The Philadelphia Flyers have had some success against the Bylsma-led Pens over the past few years especially in Pittsburgh. In the past three seasons, Flyers are 6-2 in games played at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh and 9-6 overall.
