JVR update: I'm told he's "probably" out tonight vs. Buffalo, and yes, it's the flu. If he is out as expected, Cote should be in.— Sarah Baicker (@sbaickerCSN) November 14, 2009
Riley Cote looks to play in just the fourth game of his season tonight, moving from his cozy seat on press row to an equally cozy seat next to Brian Boucher at the end of the Flyers bench. The reason for Cote's likely insertion into the lineup? According to CSN's Sarah Baicker on Twitter, Rookie James van Riemsdyk has a case of the flu and "probably" will sit this evening. Don't expect Cote to see much ice time, if in fact he does get in the lineup. In three games this season, he's played a total of 7 minutes, 13 seconds.
