Boucher will start loosening up in the bullpen during the first intermission as he adjusts to his conversion from starter to long-reliever.

CSNPhilly's Tim Panaccio says that Dan Carcillo will NOT be suspended for pushing Greg Devorski at the end of last nights loss to the Bruins. The intersting part is the, ultimately, linesmen Greg Devorski was the one who made the call on whether Carcillo would be suspended. "And if Greg Devorski, who was the linesman with Carcillo, decided Carcillo needed discipline, they could apply three, 10 or 20 games themselves under Rule 41, Abuse of Officials."

This is an article from The Hockey News ranking each NHL team on how much they deserve to win the Cup on the basis of history, location and meaning. The Flyers fall in the middle at 11th most deserving. Buffalo is number 1 more deserving and Miami is 30th or least deserving.

Because why not go with the goalie who's played like crap for four games?

This is exactly why he was never assigned to the AHL like Syvret was.

With all the cap space the Flyers have, expect an AHL callup soon. The Flyers have 1 empty roster spot and plenty of cap room.

Geoff, how do I go about claiming Taylor Swift as my prize?

I can't remember the last time the Flyers won a shootout, honestly, but I also can't remember a goalie performing as badly in one as Michael Leighton did last night. He committed to Gagne's shootout attempt REALLY REALLY EARLY and wound up out between the faceoff circles while Gags tossed it into the empty net. It would be the game winner, as Mike Richards would score and Niittymaki would make three stops to secure the victory.

Luca Caputi (47pts in 54 AHL games this season, 21 years old) AND Martin Skoula who Toronto will then flip tomorrow to another team.

Caputi is their #1 prospect at this point in time.

For 2 months of Panikarovsky.

"A: ...if there's a deal in place, [Florida's GM will] let me know. Ultimately it's my decision, yes or no.

Q: Have you told the Panthers you wouldn't waive your No-Trade Clause?
A: No, that's not true.

Q: So you are open to talk about it all?
A: Yep."

Not really anything important: Chelios, who is 48, has spent the season playing for the Chicago Wolves in the AHL. The signing is mostly to provide depth and there is no guarantee that Chelios will suit up for the Thrashers. Either way, the man is timeless.
