Some guesses at tonight's lineup vs Toronto

Complete Coverage >

The Flyers are in London, Ontario for the annual we're-being-used-by-Comcast-Spectacor-and-Global-Spectrum-to-promote-a-building-they-own-in-a-foreign-land game at John Labatt Centre against the Toronto Maple Leafs. As we saw last year, the building should be firmly entrenched with Leafs blue, taking away any feelings of home the Flyers may otherwise feel.

A year ago in this game, the Flyers were crushed 4-0 by the Leafs, proving that no, preseason does not really carry over into the regular season. In that game, Brian Boucher and Logan Stephenson stuck out as sore spots. Both are back in the lineup again in London this evening.

This London game has earned a reputation of being a physical affair. A few years ago when the Flyers took on the Senators at the Labatt Centre, Steve Downie laid the hit on Dean McAmmond that resulted in a 25 game suspension. Last year, several fights broke out. It's Leafs and Flyers, it's preseason. It happens.

Scumbag Jay Rosehill is in for Toronto depending on which tough guys the Flyers decide to employ, so expect some gloves to hit the ice. If that happens, it should be a fun game -- especially if the Flyers have long memories.
