5.1: The regular season record rating pulled in by Comcast SportsNet for Wednesday night's home opener against the Vancouver Canucks. That equals approximately 155,000 households in the Delaware Valley, according to CSN PR.

To put that number in context, Flyers games on CSN averaged a rating of 2.4 during the 2010-11 season, which was a nine percent increase from the 2009-10 season. Postgame Live pulled in a 2.5 rating last night, while Pregame Live pulled in a 1.6 rating.

Safe to say that people are excited about this Flyers team, no?
