Today's open discussion thread, complete with your daily dose of Philadelphia Flyers-related news and notes...

* CSN and the Flyers unveiled their TV schedule last night. NO GAMES ON TCN HOORAY! 41 games will be broadcast locally, with the other seven exclusive to either NBC or NBC Sports Network. Most games will be on 97.5 The Fanatic, but some games will be on WMMR. The Flyers' partnership with WIP is over. [Flyers]

* Tye McGinn was sent down yesterday and Andreas Lilja was placed on waivers. The roster is beginning to take shape. [BSH] [SanFilippo]

* Meltzer's column from yesterday is really solid all around, but the most interesting parts are with regards to Laviolette's system and the potential need to change thanks to a slower defense. [Hockeybuzz]

* Brian Boucher on being signed by the Flyers and immediately sent to Adirondack: "All ups and downs and all around." [The Saratogian]

* Chris Pronger had some thoughts about Captain Claude. [SanFilippo]

* The Flyers hope Ruslan Fedotenko's experience rubs off on the team, because, you know, he's won the Stanley Cup before and stuff and that's supposed to be important or whatever. [CSN]

* The Titans played the Reading Royals at 11 a.m. in Trenton on Wednesday. Overtime winner! [Flyers Faithful]

* Ian Slater is making friends in Glens Falls. [Post Star]

* Should the Flyers offer sheet P.K. Subban? [Hexys2Hander]

* "Luke Schenn to Arrive in Defensive Zone in 3013" [Pension Plan Puppets]

* Lou Lamoriello and the Devils gave Travis Zajac all of their money that's not already reserved for Ilya Kovalchuk. Here's an argument for why that's a good move. [In Lou We Trust]

* Wade Redden and Scott Gomez are getting bought out before Saturday Should the Isles do the same with Rick DiPietro? [Lighthouse Hockey]

* This had to be Deadspin's highest-trafficked post on Wednesday, right? How the Stars have hired their own beat reporter, and we should all hope it works out better than it did with Rich Hammond and the Kings. [Deadspin]

* Finally, if you missed it, we're looking for writers. [BSH]
