Yesterday was sad and heartbreaking as Team Canada played a really really good game and gave the Americans their first loss of the Olympics in the semifinal matchup. It was a 1-0 loss that never really felt that close. A disappointing end to a run for a team that's been pretty fun to follow for these games.
Elsewhere, Sweden's win over Finland means two things. One, obviously, Sweden will face Canada for the gold on Sunday morning. And two, this ends the streak of Olympics in the NHL era where the gold-medal winning team had at least one Flyer on it. Poor Kimmo.
Oh well. I like to think that it says a lot about the progress USA Hockey has made that we'd be disappointed with Team USA getting a bronze, but it is what it is. Bronze medal game today. Gold medal game tomorrow. And then back to reality.
Today's Game

Enjoy.
