Michael Raffl suffered an apparent head injury in the second period of Saturday night's game vs. the New York Rangers.
Possibly what caused Raffl's injury...sort of skated into Stoll's elbow in the play before. Tough to tell pic.twitter.com/lk5lYAqAjE— Ryan Ohanesian (@ryanohan) October 25, 2015
He won't return to the game after he ran into the elbow of Rangers forward Jarret Stoll. He appeared to try to shake it off once he returned to the bench, but he reportedly collapsed while on the bench and was quickly taken back to the locker room.
The Flyers are calling it an upper body injury, but it's pretty clear we're talking about a head injury and a possible concussion here. Let's hope Raffl is OK. The Flyers are down two top-six forwards now with Raffl and Sean Couturier out with head injuries.
