According to Comcast SportsNet, the Philadelphia Flyers are actively searching for a deal that will send Braydon Coburn out of town before the NHL trade deadline on Monday.
Flyers hoping to move Braydon Coburn by Monday. Teams are calling.

No word on which teams are interested in Coburn's services, but as we've written a few times, this seems like a really great time for the Flyers to move him. Sure, he's a key part of their defense right now, and losing him will hurt their already-long playoff odds, but that's clearly not the focus here.
Coburn is a good player, but he can fetch the Flyers a pretty strong return right now -- we're thinking a first round pick -- and the Flyers have plenty of good young players in the system ready for a full crack at the NHL next season. It's been a good run for Coburn in Philadelphia, but it really looks like he'll be gone by 3 p.m. on Monday.
