2016 Stanley Cup odds: Blackhawks favored to repeat, Flyers have basically no chance

New, comments

Only four teams have longer odds than the Philadelphia Flyers to win the 2016 Stanley Cup.

Just as quickly as the 2014-15 NHL season came and went, we're preparing for the 2015-16 season. And that means ... yes, Las Vegas has odds for the 2016 Stanley Cup already.

The Blackhawks return as favorites to defending their title, with 7/1 odds to win the thing in 2016. The New York Rangers have the second-best odds at 8/1, while the Philadelphia Flyers are all the way down at 66/1 -- tied with Colorado, Dallas, New Jersey and Toronto. Ugh. Only four teams are below them on the list.

Buffalo, Carolina and Arizona have the longest odds at 100/1.

Here's the full list, via Bovada. And now if you'll excuse me, I have to go throw my entire paycheck at the Lightning at 12/1.
