They managed to slip the news in earlier this afternoon while the rest of the NHL was eating itself alive, but the Philadelphia Flyers announced their development camp roster on Wednesday afternoon and confirmed that the events will take place between July 7 and 12.

The camp lineup consists of almost everyone in the Flyers' system that can reasonably be considered a prospect, with two noteworthy exceptions. Recent first-round pick German Rubtsov will not be around, likely due to his existing contract in Russia. And defenseman Phil Myers is also not on the roster -- he suffered an injury in the Memorial Cup back in May, so it's possible the absence is related to that, though that hasn't been confirmed as of yet.

In addition to the Flyers' set of prospects, there are four invitees that will be there at camp. Union College winger Mike Vecchione -- a soon-to-be senior and former teammate of one Shayne Gostisbehere -- is the lone forward invitee. Meanwhile, three CHL defensemen -- Guelph's Garrett McFadden, Vancouver's Brennan Menell, and Kamloops' Ondrej Vala -- will also be in the fold. McFadden and Menell are both 5'10" with respectable-to-good offensive numbers in junior, while Vala stands at 6'4" and looks to be more of a stay-at-home type.

You can see the full schedule here, broken down by positional group, via the Flyers. Details about the Trial on the Isle, which will take place on Tuesday the 12th and will feature no beaches being shitted upon, will be released on Thursday. In the meantime, below is the full development camp roster.
