Flyers make more cuts, send 7 players to Lehigh Valley Phantoms

The Flyers have made seven more cuts on Wednesday, sending a bunch of players to Allentown, where they’ll begin camp with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the AHL. That camp begins Friday.

Here’s the list:

• goalie Mark Dekanich
• forward Chris McCarthy
• defenseman Maxim Lamarche
• goalie Martin Ouellette
• defenseman Jesper Pettersson
• forward Steve Swavely
• forward Kevin Sundher

Expect more cuts to be made between now and Friday when the AHL camp opens. The Flyers have a preseason game tonight at, coincidentally enough, PPL Center in Allentown, the home of the Phantoms. It’s their final preseason game before Phantoms camp begins Friday.
