Team Europe has turned into the plucky little underdogs that, it turns out, could.
Maybe not against Canada - at least not so far, as they’re in a do-or-die situation tomorrow for the best of three finals - but against everyone else, they got it.
Case in point: their sudden death semifinal win over Team Sweden. A game that, as it turns out, Pierre-Edouard Bellemare was mic’d up for!
There are a fair share of conversations with officials at faceoffs, the usual strategizing with teammates on the ice and giving encouragement from the bench, and even a big of indignation - but probably the best of them all is his cheering when his team scores.
Especially, you know, at the end, when the Euro collection won in overtime.
Bellemare has a lot to say (and sometimes yell) - and all of it is pretty great.
