Pierre-Edouard Bellemare is so wonderfully French

Those crepes look amazing.

There aren’t that many French players in the NHL.

Sure, you’ll often see Team France at the World Championships, but that’s generally about it. Only 11 French-born players have ever played in the NHL. Only six of them have ever played over 100 games. Only two of them are still active: Antoine Roussel and Pierre-Edouard Bellemare.

Bellemare is one of the most prolific French players to ever play. Remember his inclusion on Team Europe, who had a pretty good World Cup? Yeah.

So it makes sense that, in downtimes, Bellemare would celebrate his heritage.

Also, apparently he’s quite the cook, because those crepes look amazing. What a way to spend a day off.
