*Folks, that was an excellent weekend of hockey from your boys. And after picking up four points against divisional rivals, the Flyers are a playoff team. For now. Subject to change. First up, Maddie’s observations from the Saturday matinee win against the Devils. [BSH]

*And then yesterday afternoon the boys came up with a very exciting overtime win against the Metro-leading Washington Capitals. RECAP!

*The Flyers have uh...they’ve been playing good hockey lately. It’s weird. Don’t really know what to do with my hands. Anyhoo, a big part of the recent success has been the top defensive pairing of Ivan Provorov and Shayne Gostisbehere. [NBC Sports Philly]
