Due to a inclement weather in the northeast, Tyrell Goulbourne was not able to make him NHL debut in tonight’s Flyers vs. Islanders match-up. The Lehigh Valley Phantoms are in Toronto for a Friday evening game against the Marlies followed by a Saturday evening game against the Rochester Americans. Our best guess is Goulbourne will be able to play against Brayden Schenn and the St. Louis Blues Saturday afternoon.
One good scrap of information we’ve gotten is that Jori Lehtera is coming out of the line-up, instead Taylor Leier is playing in the spot that was presumably for Goulbourne.
Dave Hakstol also says Taylor Leier returns to the lineup in place of Jori Lehtera, and Brian Elliott will start in goal
