Photo gallery: Flyers vs Knights

Well, the photos are good!

The short-handed Philadelphia Flyers took to the ice on Saturday afternoon against the Vegas Golden Knights. Donning their black alternate jerseys for the first time in 2018-19, the Flyers and Knights battled for the final time this season. Brian Elliott was back in net after a horrendous home opener and was strong in the limited times he was tested. After two, scoreless periods and good goaltending on both sides, Cody Eakin found the back of the net with less than two minutes in regulation. With the goalie pulled, Claude Giroux ripped a shot from the side of the net, but Marc-Andre Fleury sprawled across the crease to make the game-saving stop. The Flyers fell to Vegas 1-0, splitting their season series.
