*So that Saturday afternoon game was actually fun, huh? I think we’d forgotten a bit that hockey can be fun. Here’s hoping it continues! Anyhoo, here’s what we learned from a full 60-minute effort. [BSH]

*It was a hell of a game for Jake Voracek, who, to be honest, needed to have a hell of a game. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Ivan Provorov still isn’t playing as well as we’d like considering he’s the best defenseman on the team, but it’s way too early to worry. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Speaking of the defense; it took some steps forward on Saturday but overall it’s been pretty abysmal. Care to guess when the last time they were this bad was? [BSH]

*If you had to assign an identity for this team, what would you call them? It seems way too early to know with any certainty what this team is going to be. [Philly.com]

*Dave Hakstol has, some would argue, trouble with in-game adjustments. And optimizing lineups. And getting the most out of his players. Etc. But it may be time to start looking up the chain of command to find answers to what has ailed the Flyers to start this season. [BSH]

*One thing that they may be getting right is their handling of struggling - but talented - forward Mikhail Vorobyev. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Best goal scorer in NHL history: who ya got? [ESPN]

*With marijuana now being legal in all of Canada, suddenly our old friend Riley Cote’s efforts to bring the medical benefits of the herb to light are a lot more relevant. [Global News]

*And finally, you know what’s perfect for a dreary Monday morning? A heartwarming story about Keith Primeau doing good things. [NHL.com]
