Shayne Gostisbehere got his Philadelphia Flyers on the board in the opening 1:45 of the game, and that was it. That was all the offense the orange and black could muster against the Florida Panthers, the team giving up the fourth most goals per game in the NHL.
James Reimer, who came into the game with an .888 percentage and a goals against average near three-and-a-half, stopped 34 of Philly’s 35 shots. Carter Hart was very good again, blanking the Panthers until late in the third when a pair of defensive breakdowns, and an ill-timed penalty, gave Florida an opportunity.
Listen to Bill’s postgame, which mostly turned into the commenters trashing a certain veteran defenseman. It was a good time though. No, really. Hear for yourself.
