Flyers at Sabres lineups, start time, TV, radio, live stream and discussion

Let’s do better this time than we did last time in Buffalo.

NHL: Tampa Bay Lightning at Buffalo Sabres Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

Today’s game begins at 1:00 p.m. ET and can be:

  • Seen on TV locally via NBC Sports Philadelphia (or via stream on the MyTeams App)
  • Seen on TV in Buffalo via MSG-B
  • Seen on TV in Canada via Sportsnet
  • Heard on radio locally via 97.5 The Fanatic
  • Seen or heard elsewhere via Sirius XM,, and NHL Center Ice

We’ve got some late-breaking news from the Flyers on the injury front today, as Sean Couturier will miss today’s game because of a lower-body injury that has him “day-to-day”. We’ll see how long that ultimately ends up being, but this previously-unannounced injury does help explain Phil Varone’s call-up on Friday.

According to Sam Carchidi, Jordan Weal will draw back into the lineup while the aforementioned Varone is a scratch:

Which way the Flyers choose to go with the specific lines sans-Couturier is unclear; the below is a guess until we get further information.

Projected Flyers lineup:

van Riemsdyk - Giroux - Konecny

Voracek - Patrick - Simmonds

Raffl - Laughton - Weise

Lindblom - Lehtera - Weal

Provorov - Gostisbehere

Hagg - MacDonald

Sanheim - Gudas

Projected Sabres lineup (via):

Skinner - Eichel - Reinhart

Sheary - Mittelstadt - Pominville

Sobotka - Rodrigues - Okposo

Thompson - Larsson - Berglund

Dahlin - Bogosian

Pilut - Ristolainen

Beaulieu - Tennyson
