We’ve got some late-breaking news from the Flyers on the injury front today, as Sean Couturier will miss today’s game because of a lower-body injury that has him “day-to-day”. We’ll see how long that ultimately ends up being, but this previously-unannounced injury does help explain Phil Varone’s call-up on Friday.
According to Sam Carchidi, Jordan Weal will draw back into the lineup while the aforementioned Varone is a scratch:
Weal is in the lineup; Hak won’t say where ... or who will be top-line C. Stolie in goal for 4th straight game. Varone not playing. Coots injured vs. CBJ. #Flyers
