*The Flyers are in Detroit tonight to take on the floundering Detroit Red Wings, who have lost ten straight. So, you know...here comes a win. Just kidding; for his part, Petr Mrazek is hoping to get the chance to stick it to his old team tonight. [Philly.com]

*One guy who will not be sticking it to the Detroit Red Wings is Michael Raffl who is, unfortunately, out of the lineup for at least two weeks. [BSH]

*Losing Raffl really stinks because, as we learned during Sunday’s game against the Capitals, the lineup Dave iced in that game was about as near to optimal as we’ve seen all season. Here’s a few more things we learned. [BSH]

*Tuesday means it is time to check in on the prospects! Anthony Stolarz is well into his rehab stint in Reading and is doing pretty well. [NBC Sports Philly]

*And because we are nothing if not thorough, we’ve got a full rundown of the kiddos in our latest prospect report. [BSH]

*What do we think of the idea of a team “deserving” to make the playoffs, but might end up missing? Sure the playoff format leads to some crappy outcomes, standings-wise, but like...make it or don’t. [ESPN]

*And finally, the Flyers want you to know what they’d save in a fire. [Flyers]
