*BIG DAY, FOLKS. The Hurricanes are in town and it sure would be nice if the Flyers put up a 60 minute effort, cleanly beat a lesser team, and secured themselves two of the three points needed to clinch. THAT WOULD BE REALLY NICE. [Philly.com]

*Anyhoo, ahead of tonight’s game let’s look back at Tuesday ridiculous loss to the Islanders with what we learned. [BSH]

*In Charlie’s post-game observations, he noted something interesting. And by interesting, I mean OH MY GOD WHY. You see, Dave Hakstol has a habit of deploying his worst line after a goal is scored. And it doesn’t seem to work. [The Athletic]

*The Flyers will be giving out team awards tonight, and we here at Broad Street Hockey have some ideas about who should win them. First up, the Lindbergh Memorial Trophy for most improved player. [BSH]

*And then we’ve got the Ashbee Award for the best defenseman. Check back this afternoon for our picks for the remaining awards ahead of tonight’s game! [BSH]

*It’s time to start thinking about what coaches will lose their jobs this summer. There will be a few, to be sure. Ours is not one of them. [The Hockey News]

*The Stanley Cup is getting a haircut and a lot of really notable names will no longer be on the Cup, but in the Hall. [ProHockeyTalk]

*And finally, have you been voting in our super fun March WOOness tournament? We’ve come to the finale! Be sure to vote! [BSH]
