Folks! We’ve made it! This morning, SB Nation announced that they have picked up all of the Broad Street Hockey podcasts and added them to their family of offerings, along with Bleeding Green Nation, The Good Phight, and Liberty Ballers. This is something we’ve been working towards for years, and more than that, it’s something we’ve all been working towards together. I am so excited to be able to share this with you, and I hope that you are just as pumped as we are.
Let’s dig into what this means for you, that is why we’re all here. This means that you will be getting more content. If you are a Patreon subscriber, we will be winding that down in the coming months, there will be more details on what that entails coming early next week. If you haven’t been a Patreon subscriber, you will soon be seeing a brand new podcast offering called Ice Sport Radio. Here is a sneak peak behind the curtain, our most recent episode, where I allude to this exact partnership we’re announcing right now.
BSH Radio is going to stay the same. Flyperbole isn’t going anywhere and will remain. In season, we will continue Checking out the Competition and Post Game Reactions. In the offseason, we will continue Saturday Morning Scrambles. We might even get real crazy and throw in a few episodes of YELLING ABOUT SPORTS.
This also means that you will start hearing advertisements in our shows. I know you have been enjoying all of our offerings ad free for years, I am confident this won’t be too dramatic of a shift in your listening habits.
There shouldn’t be any change to where or how you listen, unless you listen through the SoundCloud app. That doesn’t mean there won’t be changes or hiccups, it just means we have taken a lot of steps to make sure you can still listen in the way you always have. If you use the SoundCloud app, please subscribe through one of the other services, as we will stop updating that page shortly. If you have any trouble at all, please reach out to me directly through email StephaliciousD@gmail.com.
Make sure you are subscribed through one (or more than one) of the many different ways to find us: iTunes, Stitcher, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and RSS. If you don’t see the Ice Sport Radio episode from above on your podcast feeds, please let me know.
