The Philadelphia Flyers were looking to get their first win of the new year under their new head coach at home against the Dallas Stars. Carter Hart got the start in net and didn’t disappoint. He made 37 saves on 38 shots and helped lead the Flyers to victory. Travis Konecny led the way with a goal, while James van Riemsdyk rallied a goal and an assist in a 2-1 win. Philadelphia ended their eight-game losing streak and look to turn the page heading into the weekend.
