Funstrating, the story of the 2018-19 Philadelphia Flyers

Postgame reaction following 3-1 victory over Winnipeg

NHL: Winnipeg Jets at Philadelphia Flyers Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

That’s right, “funstrating.”

That’s how I’m choosing to describe this run by the hockey team the Flyers right now.

It’s fun to see Carter Hart playing great, and James van Riemsdyk scoring goals and Oskar Lindblom contributing and Ivan Provorov remembering he’s really good at the ol’ ice sport... But like, where was this all year?

Jake Voracek was back-checking. Nolan Patrick was winning battles. Andrew MacDonald wasn’t awful.

Hence, the frustration.

Funstrating.

Listen to the BSH Radio postgame for a breakdown of Monday night’s action, an encouraging and convincing win over a very good Winnipeg Jets team, as well as some trade deadline speculation, call-up talk and the usual fun and games you’ve come to expect from the postgame shows.
