The Philadelphia Flyers began a new week with a new test and they hosted Brayden Schenn and the St. Louis Blues. Carter Hart made another start in net and played well. Hart stopped 34 of 36 shots against him, but it would not be enough. Schenn opened the scoring for St. Louis early into the second period and Vladimir Tarasenko added a big insurance goal halfway through the third period. The Flyers had many chances, but couldn’t find the back of the net. They lost to Jordan Binnington, who picked up his first career win in a 3-0 shutout over the Flyers. Philadelphia drops their seventh straight and head to Washington on Tuesday trying to end the streak.
