*What a roller coaster of a hockey weekend, huh? The highest of highs. The lowers of lows. It kicked off with a hell of a come-from-behind win against the Columbus Blue Jackets, from which we learned thus. [BSH]

*And then they went to Long Island. And the wheels fell off. Here’s a recap.

*Joel Farabee hasn’t just been impressing us since his call-up from the Phantoms, he’s been impressing his veteran teammates too. [Inquirer]

*Speaking of the Phantoms, let’s take a quick look at how things have been going up there in Allentown over the last week or so. [BSH]

*One thing that has been made abundantly clear by AV thus far is that he is not at all afraid to juggle up the lines in order to get things going. Last week, we saw some new looks. [BSH]

*Kevin Hayes is fast becoming a favorite here in Philly, and the road he took to get here was a lot bumpier than you may have known. [NBC Sports Philly]

*It’s always kind of funny when someone dunks on the Maple Leafs, given their overwhelming popularity. It’s weird when it is Gary Bettman, though. [Yahoo Sports]

*Speaking of the Leafs, what’s their problem? [ProHockeyTalk]

*And finally, there was an outdoor game over the weekend. Did you even know? Despite the NHL doing a terrible job marketing these things, they are still popular and the players still love them. So on we go. [Sportsnet]
